Training for entry level and high turn over positions was mostly done one to one or small group settings. Although this is an effective way to train it is not efficient or scalable. With high turn over positions it feels like spinning wheels and is not an effective use of company resources. Often, training was only offered when the trainer was available.
Buffalo Rock Company needed a more effective way to educate new employee-partners to bring them up to speed quicker, and more efficiently use trainers time.
A custom video training series was created to educate employee-partners working onsite and in the field. In addition to utilizing the videos for training, they were also excellent for prequalifying an applicant.
Video topics included: Account Merchandisers Training, Delivery Merchandisers Training, Job Description for Recruiting Fairs, 20oz Bottle line training, Proprietary software training.
All training videos were loaded into their learning management system and employee-partners are assigned videos to watch. If a particulate employee-partner needs a refresher, then a specific videos can be assigned.
