*Zero obligations. Plenty of potential
When businesses struggle to train their employees and communicate effectively across hundreds (or even thousands) of team members, I can help align company messages and values while saving time, money, and plenty of headaches. I’ve helped with recruiting, onboarding, training, and upskilling for hundred-million-dollar companies with 600+ employees, but here’s the best bit… My video expertise isn’t limited to bigger companies.
Whether you’re in Birmingham, Atlanta or Nashville and you’re responsible for a team of 10 or 100, you can support your employees with video training that boosts information retention, reduces errors, and ensures a consistent output day after day.
I believe everyone has a story to tell. Partnering with you, we’ll craft a clear and compelling message that results in direct and measurable outcomes.
What makes me different from other training video production companies? The fact that I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was little, so my eye has developed naturally over decades. But, more than bringing a detail-oriented and methodical approach, I understand that training and education resources aren’t an HR box to tick or a management buzzword – they’re the problem-solving advantage successful businesses, division leaders, and employees share.
By trusting your company’s video training and education to See It Productions, you’ll have a partner who understands the training world, is results-driven, and provides peace of mind resources that allow you to train your team consistently and faster.
A lifelong love affair with video begins. Entirely self-taught, I filmed my first video for my Dad’s employer – a fire-safety resource for South-Central Bell. I’d take a detour via a career as a chiropractor along the way to help people improve their relationships with their health and well-being. But over time, I realized I wanted to help people make a difference on a larger scale. Having heard thousands of patients share their complex health stories, this taught me the importance of distilling a problem to its essence and crafting the most effective solution – a skill that would become the hallmark of
See It Productions.
You never forget your first. That includes your first camera (a Canon 7D) and the first paying client – Rob’e Mans Automotive Repair Shop. After being asked to film a video to run on a loop at the counter, I delivered a draft – and the client hated it! Rather than a review of services, they’d wanted a video to drive upsells and cross-sells. Heading back to the drawing board, I hit the reset button and delivered a second video just 9 days later. This time, it was a winner and my first official paying gig.
Having watched hundreds of hours of tutorials and spent thousands of hours of hands-on trial and error, it was time to start delivering value to local businesses. My first paying gig had taught me the value of listening and truly understanding what each client is trying to achieve. I learned that when you work backward to deliver a video solution, you can help people see the world in a new light and move to take action – whatever form that takes. With that ethos in mind, See It Productions was officially born.
As video content continued to explode in popularity, I got my first taste of taking an organization’s problem and creating a clear, compelling solution. From helping non-profits explain and express their story in a way that made people feel compelled to take action, to delivering case studies that helped build trust and authority, and distilling complicated ideas and processes into digestible content, the following years saw the next steps in my video production career.
A game-changing year! I was hired to film a manufacturing video for Lime. Building on my ethos that great videos don’t just entertain – they solve problems – I found a calling for creating video resources that helped companies support employees, promote best practices, and deliver consistent output. As See It Productions grew, my drive to craft stories that motivate and compel people grew too.
Having filmed documentaries as well as filmed for Farm Life magazine, I still saw a pattern of business leaders facing knowledge and skill gaps that were harming output, driving under trained employees to quit, and hurting their bottom line. So I started to focus on clients with a need to support their team. This culminated in transforming the onboarding process for digital health coaching company, Pack Health, with exciting plans to take the next step in the evolution of See It Productions.
See It Productions Studio was constructed to provide a purpose-built space for creating video content. As much as I love to shoot on location, the setting of an interview shapes perceived credibility and authenticity. To support my growing client list, the studio provides a designated green screen, wood wall, and moveable backgrounds for complete control over the environment and exceptional results.
Having been awarded an Alabama Chapter of the American Planning Association Award in 2016, this period of growth was bookended by a Save-a-Life Award in 2019. While awards look great on the mantlepiece, what was more important was continuing to find ways to support businesses struggling to squeeze the most value possible from their teams. Every videographer loves a new toy or two, so I also upgraded my equipment to provide cutting-edge videos for my clients.
A milestone moment. I was asked to work with the Buffalo Rock Company across 10 divisions and 2,100 employee partners to support their corporate communications and internal training videos. With 8 production lines under one roof, plus 14 distribution centers across 1.4 million square feet, this was a game-changer for See It Productions with my goal of helping people make a difference on a larger scale coming full circle.
A literal lifetime since I first picked up a camera, my passion for videography continues. Even in the face of COVID-19, challenging working conditions and undersupported employees resigning in record numbers (a.k.a the Great Resignation), I’m proud to be making a difference. See It Productions continues to grow as my clients are enjoying greater employee and business success than ever.
Potential employees want to know if they will receive clear communication around what is expected of them and whether they will be provided with the training resources they need to to meet the demands of the job.
So if you’re looking to get the most value from your team, whether it’s recruiting the best talent, onboarding new hires, or you’re upskilling experienced employees, this could be a game-changing year for you too.
